Maryam Forozmand

Jungian Analyst

My approach to Trichotillomania

As a Jungian analyst, I approach trichotillomania with curiosity and compassion, seeking to understand the emotional experiences and underlying psychological patterns that may be connected to her- pulling. Rather than viewing the behavior simply as a symptom to eliminate, I explored personal meaning and possible role in coping with distress, tension or difficult feelings. Through a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, we work toward greater self awareness, understanding emotional needs and developing a more compassionate relationship with oneself.

About me

Maryam completed her specialized training in Jungian analysis at ISAPZURICH (International School of Analytical Psychology Zurich). This training forms the foundation of her therapeutic work and how she accompanies each person in their psychological growth and individuation. She offers a reflective and supportive space for people who want to better understand themselves and their inner world. Many people come to therapy not only because something feels wrong, but because they feel stuck, confused, or disconnected from meaning in their lives. The work focuses on paying close attention to emotions, inner patterns, and personal experiences. Through this process, individuals can gain greater insight, clarity, and a deeper connection to themselves.
